Initial Enquiry

Include essential details such as: number of people, address, time to be ready by, and any special requests. If a change of location is required (even moving from one room to another), please let me know in advance so I can factor this into the timings. I will then create a schedule for the morning so we are organized.

Our schedule will allow 45 minutes per bridesmaid/guest and 1.25 hours for the bride. We will aim to finish the makeup at least 45 minutes before the ceremony starts. This allows plenty of time for photos and getting into your dresses. I always recommend for brides to go second to last, so that you can get into your dress and we can add the final touches before you walk down the aisle.

Reserve Your Date

Once we have confirmed all details and you are ready to book, I will provide payment details for the booking fee. To reserve your wedding date, a £100 non-refundable booking fee is required. This booking fee covers the cost of your bridal trial in full and secures your date. We will then arrange a date for your trial and I will send a copy of my bridal contract for you to read through.

The Bridal Trial

On the day of your trial, please arrive to your appointment with a makeup free, cleansed face. Exfoliate the night before and apply your usual skincare products. Please avoid applying fake tan to your face, as this can interfere with the makeup. Have an idea of what styles of makeup you like - I would love to see your Pinterest board, your dress, your floral arrangements, and hair ideas! This allows me to better understand your personal style and create a look that will compliment your wedding theme. For your trial, I would suggest wearing a white or cream top that is a similar colour to your dress.

Trials are available mid week and take place at my home in Fishponds, Bristol. The full address will be provided following your booking confirmation. I recommend booking in your trial 3-6 months prior to your wedding date, however, if you would prefer to have it sooner then we can choose a date that suits you best. Trials for brides are essential, and trials for any other guests or bridesmaids are optional. Please note, if you do not wish to book a bridal trial, the cost will still be included in the total price.

Final Details

A few weeks before your wedding date I will check in with you to confirm all details for the day. We will go over the schedule for the morning and make any adjustments if needed. Your invoice will then be provided with payment details included. The remaining balance is due one week prior to your wedding date via bank transfer. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

The Wedding Morning

The bridal prep during the morning of your wedding is a fun and relaxing experience that prepares you for the day ahead. Getting ready with your bridal party is one of the most exciting parts of the wedding day! I will be with you for the entire morning to ensure everything runs smoothly - right until you leave to walk down the aisle. I will arrive approximately 15 minutes early to set up and bring all the essentials with me. Please ensure there is adequate room for me to work with a plug socket, natural lighting (if possible), and a quiet space. The schedule we have prepared beforehand ensures all bridal party members know where they need to be and at what time. Wedding mornings can get hectic and I want to make sure you can relax & enjoy the makeup service without interruptions. I look forward to being a part of your wedding!
