Make sure to include essential details such as: number of people, address, time to be ready by, and any special requests. The maximum number I can accommodate myself is 6 - if your bridal party is larger than this or requires an early start time, a second makeup artist can be arranged. If a change of location is required (even moving from one room to another), we will need to factor this into the timings. I will create a schedule for the morning so we are organised. If you or any of your bridal party members have an allergy or skin sensitivity, it is your responsibility to inform me prior to the makeup service.

Our schedule will allow 45 minutes per bridesmaid/guest and just over an hour for the bride. We will aim to finish the makeup at least 45 minutes to an hour before the ceremony starts. This allows plenty of time for photos, getting into your dresses, and touch ups. I always recommend for brides to go second to last, so your makeup will have time to settle. Then, you can get into your dress and we can add the final details before you walk down the aisle.

Bookings are taken 1-2 years in advance, available Monday through Saturday. For destination weddings, it is recommended to book 1-3 years in advance due to the number of travel days required.

Once we have confirmed details and you are ready to book, I will provide payment details for the booking fee. To reserve your wedding date, a £100 non-refundable booking fee is required. This booking fee covers the cost of your bridal trial in full and secures your date. Please note, your wedding date is not secure unless a booking fee has been paid and confirmed. Dates are available on a first come first serve basis.

We will then arrange a date for your trial. I will send a copy of my bridal contract for you to read through and we can go over any questions you may have. If you have also booked a hairdresser for the day, it is a good idea to share my schedule with them. Keep in mind hair and makeup cannot be completed at the same time, and some hairdressers require extra time for final touch ups. Most of my brides have their makeup done first, and hair after - but we can do whatever order works best for you.

On the day of your trial, please arrive to your appointment with a makeup free, cleansed face. Exfoliate the night before and apply your usual skincare products. Please avoid applying fake tan to your face, as this can interfere with the makeup. Have an idea of what styles of makeup you like - I would love to see your Pinterest board, your dress, your floral arrangements, and hair ideas! This allows me to better understand your personal style and create a look that will compliment your wedding theme. For your trial, I would suggest wearing a white or cream top that is a similar colour to your dress.

Trials are available mid week and take place at my home in Fishponds, Bristol. The full address will be provided following your booking confirmation. I recommend booking in your trial 3-6 months prior to your wedding date, however, if you would prefer to have it sooner then we can choose a date that suits you best. Trials for brides are essential, and trials for any other guests or bridesmaids are optional. Please note, if you do not wish to book a bridal trial, the cost will still be included in the total price.

Following your trial, we can discuss how the makeup lasted for you and any changes you would like to make for the day. If you would like to make any changes, please don't feel uncomfortable asking - makeup is so easy to adjust and everyone has different preferences. Keep in mind makeup will last hours, but some areas will need topping up - such as lipstick or gloss. I can provide the shade names of the lip products we use in your trial so you can purchase the same/similar for the day. If you have oily skin, I recommend keeping oil blotting sheets on hand for the day. If you have normal to dry skin, I recommend purchasing a hydrating setting spray to refresh your makeup.

A few weeks before your wedding date I will check in with you to confirm final details for the day. We will go over the schedule for the morning and make any adjustments if needed. We can set time for photos, dress reveals, etc. If you choose to include additional numbers for the day, please get in touch as early as possible so I can arrange a second makeup artist to assist for the day. Your invoice will then be provided, with the remaining balance is due one week prior to your wedding date via bank transfer.

The bridal prep during the morning of your wedding is a fun and relaxing experience that prepares you for the day ahead. Getting ready with your bridal party is one of the most exciting parts of the wedding day! I will be with you for the entire morning to ensure everything runs smoothly, right until you leave to walk down the aisle. I will aim to arrive approximately 15 minutes early to set up my kit and lighting. Please ensure there is adequate room for me to work with a plug socket, natural lighting (if possible), and table space. If there is no natural light available, I will always bring professional lighting with me.

The schedule we have prepared beforehand ensures all bridal party members know where they need to be and at what time. We have allowed extra time after finishing the makeup so if we do encounter any small delays, we are prepared. It's a good idea to have one bridesmaid in charge of timings, making sure everyone is where they need to be. Wedding mornings can get hectic and I want to make sure you can relax & enjoy the makeup service without interruptions. I will be there to help out with zipping dresses, cutting tags, and gloss touch ups. I look forward to being a part of your wedding!
